Here I will list all the steps to getting a blog up and running.

So Let us start

First Basic Steps

First You Need A Domain Name.

Visit Godaddy and register your account and find a good domain name.

Next, You Need Hosting Service

Visit Hostgator and buy the baby plan. Do not buy the hatchling as it limits you considerably.
Another very economical hosting is at Newwebsite; it is only $4.95 per month and so far I have found it to be excellent, offering the same as Hostgator. But if you are a beginner I suggest you stick to Hostgator. When purchasing this baby plan, you will have to put the domain name that you registered with Godaddy.

Once you have obtained a domain name and your hosting, you will have to associate your Godaddy domain name with the Hostgator’s name servers.

You visit Godaddy, sign in and go to Manage Domains in your account.
Select your domain name and change the name servers that hostgator gave you in it’s email when you obtained their baby plan. (Double click the domain name and go to Servers and double click again and follow instructions)

Install Wordpress

I would recommend that you install Wordpress using Hostgator’s cPanel.
